Watching the stars

Every Friday evening the observatory is open to the public. Admission is free, and we do not follow a fixed program, so you can come in whenever you like.

When the weather is good the dome opens and you can see the universe up close through our telescope. Regardless of the weather, there is a presentation about the universe every open evening.

The sun up close

The only star you can really see well through a telescope is our own star: The Sun!

You can observe with us through a special safe solar telescope. This allows you to see sunspots and flares yourself.

Astrophotography

Our astrophotography club meets several times a year. Members share their knowledge and photograph deep-sky objects such as star clusters, nebulae and galaxies with our high-quality telescopes.

Young and old

The observatory is for young and old, but for children up to 12 years old we have special group visits and school programs. Young people from 16 years old can register as volunteers and work with the telescope themselves.
